GIRL SCOUT PROGRAMS
An interactive cooking class or art program is a great way for your scout troop to earn a badge or just have fun!
Earn Snacks, Simple Meals or New Cuisines badges!
Depending on the age of your scout and your goals we offer 90 to 120 minute interactive cooking classes. Our conversation reviews safety, sanitation and kitchen etiquette. We make recipes as required for your badge including, but not limited to tacos, handmade pasta, hand pies and baked goods. Participants eat what they make.
Social Butterfly Badge
Scouts learn about table settings, manners, holding conversations, making introductions and handling yourself in common social situations. They enjoy a simple meal to learn how to eat politely. Following the meal, we will learn the importance of Thank You notes and practice confidence building skills through role playing.
Fused Glass or Pottery
Our art instructors guide scouts through badge requirements by discussing materials, tools and techniques. Pieces are kiln-fired for distribution about a week later. Other art badges can be earned as well.
Scout programs are $25 per girl. Additional charges may be applied for expanded menus or additional art items
